Visit the mansion and gardens along the Hudson at Boscobel. Then off to Pocantico Hills to see works in stained glass by Matisse and Chagall at Union Church. Lunch is included at the Dockside Restaurant.

Travel upstate to Hyde Park for a fabulous luncheon at the Culinary Institute. After the meal, visit one of the areas local attractions such as the Vanderbilt Mansion, Eleanor Roosevelt’s Home, the FDR Home and Museum or the Studio Gallery at Vassar College). Another option is to take a guided tour at the Culinary Institute.

A visit to the Rockefeller family estate is a rare treat. See the Beaux Arts style mansion, the art galleries, the gardens and the coach barn. After your picnic or full served luncheon (group choice) conclude the day with a visit to the Phillipsburg Manor or Van Cortlandt Manor.

Visit the NYS Urban Cultural Park at Ossining. See an Audio Visual presentation about Sing Sing and the Aqueduct and enjoy a leisurely walking tour. After lunch at Windows on the Hudson, spend the afternoon at the spectacular Lyndhurst Castle, a Gothic Revival mansion built in 1838, or visit the Tarrytown Lighthouse.

On the east side of the Hudson, start your day with a tour of Wilderstein, an 1888 Queen Anne style mansion on 35 acres. This unusual mansion has a 5 story tower and interior spaces designed by J.B. Tiffany. After lunch at the Traphagen Restaurant, continue on to Clermont, home of Robert Livingston, drafter of the Declaration of Independence. The home and visitor’s center offers a tour to be remembered.

Visit Sunnyside, the home of Washington Irving. Then we move on to the Phillipsburg Manor, where you will see the stone manor house and working farm of Dutch settler Frederick Philipse. Finally, make a stop at Pocantico Hills to visit Union Church (“the Rockefeller Church”) and see windows by Matisse and Chagall. Lunch is included.
